We are looking for legal assistant to join our team!

Who we are:

We are a small law firm in University Place practicing Family Law, Debt Collection, Immigration, and . We strive to make all our clients feel like our only client as we solve their problems.

Who you are:

You are someone with some experience in civil law and an understanding of our primary counties of King and Pierce. You should be able to quickly learn to use office technology and solve problems. You should be able to effectively communicate within and outside of the firm including with clients, potential clients, courts, and opposing parties and counsel.

Most days will be typically spent organizing motions and garnishments for civil matters as well as handling incoming telephone calls.

You will report primarily to our office manager at this in-office position.

Your experience:

Ideally with at least some experience in the legal field where you have answered phones, set up new client case reviews, organized incoming and outgoing mail, tracked time, e-filed court pleadings in Pierce and King County. An ability to learn is valued as much as the experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
