Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to attorneys in various areas of law, including personal injury, workers' compensation, and patent law. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for the legal field.

Duties

Draft and proofread legal documents, including contracts and pleadings.
Conduct legal research to support case preparation.
Assist in the preparation of patent applications and related documentation.
Interview clients and witnesses to gather relevant information for cases.
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date.
Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings for attorneys.
Communicate with clients regarding case updates and necessary documentation.
Collaborate with attorneys on trial preparation and strategy development.

Experience

Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with legal drafting processes and terminology is essential.
Knowledge of personal injury law, workers' compensation law, or patent law is a plus.
Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.
Ability to write clearly and concisely in a legal context.
Proficient in using legal research tools and software.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
