Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal with expertise in both residential and commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing a variety of transactions with accuracy and professionalism, ensuring smooth and successful outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys in the preparation and execution of residential and commercial real estate transactions, from contract to closing.

- Prepare and review all necessary closing documents, including deeds, promissory notes, mortgages and other loan documents, title insurance commitments and final policies, closing disclosures and other settlement statements.

- Coordinate and oversee escrow accounts under the supervision of an attorney, ensuring accurate tracking, reconciliation, and compliance with all legal requirements.

- Coordinate and communicate with clients, realtors, lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction.

- Manage closing schedules and deadlines.

- Handle post-closing matters, including filing documents (both electronically and in person at the appropriate Registry of Deeds, as required), disbursing funds from escrow accounts, and ensuring all paperwork is properly completed and post-closing packages returned to all parties.

Qualifications:

- Experience as a paralegal, with a focus on real estate.

- Strong understanding of real estate law and practices.

- Proficiency in escrow accounting.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
