Overview
Doney Crowley P.C., a dynamic, busy, growing law firm with diverse areas of practice based in Helena and Red Lodge, Montana, seeks a friendly, self-motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The position is responsible for effective case management, including calendaring, document preparation and review, and maintaining both physical and digital filing. Applicant must have excellent communication, clerical, organizational and personal skills, attention to detail, and prior legal experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal principles and practices, and experience with legal software, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite. Three or more years of litigation and real estate transaction experience and paralegal certification preferred. We offer competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

Provide legal administrative support to attorneys
Monitor deadlines and oversee calendaring, meetings, virtual meetings, and conference room scheduling
Witness and/or notarize documents as needed
Filing, e-filing, recording, and service of legal documents
Inputting, organizing, and maintaining a variety of data into legal software concerning clients or case information such as client court documents or case files, notes and other materials
Working closely with attorneys, fellow paralegals, and support staff
Legal research

Requirements

Previous experience in a law office setting
Proficiency in project management and executive administrative support
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and personal skills
Expert with Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite
Three or more years of civil litigation and real estate transaction experience preferred
Paralegal certification preferred
