Legal Assistant at The Molino Firm, PLC | Los Angeles, CA |Onsite

Pay range: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.

Job Description

The legal assistant will assist with essential processing and administrative tasks. You'll form part of a team with a friendly but fast-paced environment. This is a full-time non-exempt role in which you'll report to the Office Manager. You must be willing to work at the Los Angeles Corporate office.

Job Duties

What you'll do as a Legal Assistant:

Set up new files
Answer phones
Prepare Postal Searches
File legal pleadings
Prepare default packages, writs, abstracts, bank levies, and wage garnishments
Litigation Calendar input
Send out demand letters
Filing

Qualifications

What We Look For In Our Legal Assistant

Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong communication and organizational skills
At least 2 years of collection litigation experience required
