Pay Range: $50,253.60 - $84,280.80

The ADOC Law Enforcement Services Division is currently seeking applicants for Corrections Investigative Agents. These positions are located throughout the state and provide a competitive salary range for qualified applicants.
The Corrections Investigative Agent is a full-time position within the Law Enforcement Services Division of the Alabama Department of Corrections. This position consists of responsible investigative work of a confidential nature concerning incidents in state correctional jurisdiction. These employees will conduct investigations of a variety of conditions relating to inmate and employee conduct, care and security practices of institutional management having unlawful or criminal implications.
Applicants must apply directly to the State Personnel Department and meet the requirements below:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, Law, Public/Business Administrations, Psychology, Forensic Sciences, Homeland Security or a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience conducting criminal investigations.
- Current, active certification by APOSTC or equivalent law enforcement agency.
