What You Will Do
The Paralegal is a non-exempt position responsible for assisting clients by providing clerical and research support services.
- Meets clients to gain insight on what the client needs to put on the documents of their assigned case/cases.
- Assists clients in getting and drafting the necessary legal documents for their case/cases
- Meets with or speaks with clients and helps them understand how the in-person court date might go and let them know of possible outcomes.
- Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files for paralegal records and assists the clients in keeping their own records organized for their personal file.
- Assists clients in learning and preparation techniques for their case/cases.
- Develops personal technique to keep record on all cases worked on.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

What You Need
- High School diploma or equivalent with understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and other related matters.
- Associate's degree in paralegal studies or related field, preferred.
- Or paralegal certificate, preferred.
- Knowledgeable about methods of case management
- Knowledge of community resources and organizations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have a valid drivers' license with auto insurance coverage.
