Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of experience as a contract specialist/administrator at an enterprise organization
  • Experience drafting, redlining, and negotiating a variety of CLINICAL commercial agreements
  • Experience communicating with and presenting to C-level stakeholders
  • Knowledge of contract law and legal concepts (limitations of liability, indemnification, warranties, termination, intellectual property, confidentiality, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree

Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Clinical Contract Specialist to join the Contracts Management team of an enterprise healthcare organization in New York. This person will partner closely with the legal and supply chain departments and ensure that all contracts and purchases are executed to the organization’s standards. They will be responsible for the review of all contracts generated by the sourcing team, including product/equipment purchase agreements, lease agreements, product placement agreements, equipment service agreements, professional services agreements, and others. The incumbent will become intimately involved with the various Clinical Strategic Sourcing teams and the products they purchase, including perioperative, orthopedics, radiology, pharmacy, research/labs, med surg, etc. Daily responsibilities will include redlining contracts while demonstrating strong application of internal playbooks, reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contract language to address deviations from standard contracting positions, responding urgently to requesters, identifying high-priority requests and turning them around quickly (including communicating any potential delays), consistently following up with internal and external stakeholders in order to keep the contract moving through the process from initial request to signature, and ultimately serving as a primary point of contact for input on contractual language from internal stakeholders and external vendors. The successful candidate must have strong stakeholder management/communication skills and a proven track record performing in a fast-paced environment
