Junior Legal Counsel

Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Legal Counsel to join our Legal Department at ESET. This entry-level role is ideal for recent law graduates with limited prior legal experience who are eager to learn, grow, and build a successful career in the legal field.

Job Description

As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will work closely with experienced colleagues who will guide and mentor you through your professional development. This position is designed to provide a supportive environment for you to enhance your legal expertise, develop practical skills, and contribute meaningfully to our team.

• Collaborate on projects and/or contracts under the supervision of senior legal professionals.
• Develop expertise in specific legal areas, such as procurement, distribution, data protection, or regulations related to ESET technologies and products.
• Review changes to contract templates and analyze contracts independently.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and implementing internal guidelines, policies, and regulations as directed.
• Conduct research and prepare legal analysis to support decision-making and compliance efforts.
• Provide clear and concise guidance to internal stakeholders on straightforward legal matters.
• Manage and resolve legal requests and service tickets independently.
• Maintain proper records and document processes.
• Assist with compliance reviews and processes.
  
  

Requirements:

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree is required for this position.
• Must possess a valid law degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid bar license in the jurisdiction where the position is located is required
• Ability to take information from various stakeholders and capture relevant information and facts for a given project.
• Proactively communicate with all stakeholders to ensure proper expectations and outcomes
• A strong desire to grow professionally and continually develop legal skills and knowledge.
• Precision and care in handling legal tasks and documentation.
• Willingness to learn from feedback, recognize areas for improvement, and embrace challenges.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with a focus on shared success.

ESET is a performance driven organization and our total rewards approach to compensation is designed to support this. We consider many factors in determining base compensation, including position scope, job related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. The base salary range for this position is $115,000-$125,000 including eligibility for bi-annual bonus based on meeting target goals. Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.
