Paralegal (Private Equity)

Innovative Driven is seeking a dynamic and engaging Paralegal to join the team at one of the most experienced and respected private equity firms in the world! The firm has a strong global footprint and an unsurpassed reputation. This is an amazing opportunity for a strong professional to join the firm's robust, collegial, and collaborative NYC-based team.

The firm operates on a hybrid structure with four days a week onsite in NYC, and one day remote.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the system and protocol for early-stage deal contract review (NDAs, Joinders, NRLs)
• Manage precedent library of standard forms that should be used as a starting point in contract drafting
• Review contracts and communicate directly with internal stakeholders and counterparties to finalize
• Create and maintain an electronic repository of signed contracts and corporate documents
• Maintain lists of portfolio company directorships and EDGAR codes, structure charts and key corporate documents
• Update and maintain employee outside business activity/directorship information
• Independently manage and facilitate ongoing projects
• Obtain and renew LEI codes, CA lobbyist reporting and maintain marketing compliance portal
• Review billing for outside counsel and consultants for approval
• Communicate with members of the firm at all levels and our external stakeholders as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors’ degree is required
• At least three years of relevant corporate/transactional experience, preferably from within a large global law firm or an asset manager/financial services/private equity firm
• Excellent academic credentials paired with a highly collaborative proactive professional approach
• Strong professional interest in the private equity/financial services sector
