Woods Lonergan PLLC is currently interviewing candidates to join its New York office for a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant position assisting attorneys and paralegals in various tasks throughout the firm. The ideal candidate is someone with effective communication skills, who takes initiative, manages multiple responsibilities and eager to learn and develop new skills in a dynamic work environment.


Scope of Responsibilities:

·        Maintain the office calendars and coordinate attorney schedules.

·        Perform secretarial duties including answering phone calls, responding to emails, opening mail, etc.

·        Draft and edit documents, letters and other correspondence under the supervision of attorneys

·        Assist in the management of the internal booking keeping and client invoicing

·        Communicate directly with clients, attorneys, and support staff on various matters.


Requirements:

·        Good management skills and professionalism

·        Clear and concise written and verbal communication

·        Ability to meet and manage deadlines consistently in a challenging environment
