Description
Reporting organisationally to the Stadium Accreditation Manager, the Stadium Accreditation Coordinator, will be a key member of the FIFA26 Accreditation team, and work in a very diverse Accreditation department (consisting of team members from Greece, India, Italy, the US and Canada) and in close collaboration with the FIFA Zurich Accreditation department (consisting of team members from across the world including Swiss-German, German, Russian and Dutch backgrounds) responsible for delivering the FWC26 Accreditation operations.

THE POSITION
The main responsibilities and oversights of the Stadium Accreditation Coordinator for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:
PRE-TOURNAMENT TIME- Assist with the supervision and provision of adequate training to a team of volunteers.
- Collaborate with relevant departments, alongside the Stadium Accreditation Manager, to assure the delivery of a fully equipped Accreditation Centre per requirements set forth by FIFA i.e. overlay, technology, power, lighting, FF&E, signage and dressing etc.
- Coordinate with and support the Access Management Department regarding accreditation access control, including access control system testing.
TOURNAMENT TIME- Assist in all operations of the relevant Accreditation Centre(s), including but not limited to, pass production and distribution, assisting in the supervision of all Accreditation volunteers onsite, and supporting issue resolution and troubleshooting activities in coordination with the FIFA and FWC26 Accreditation Constituent Group Management teams, Access Management and Security, as needed.
- Assist in managing and supervising the rosters of the Accreditation volunteers shifted at the Accreditation Centre(s).
- Liaise with the relevant individuals from Access Management and Security for issue resolution.
- Assist in the management of accreditation consumables stock management/control and coordinate with the Accreditation Operations Team to replenish stock, as required.
- Coordinate with members of the wider Accreditation Operations Team for any reporting needs, escalation of issues etc.
- Liaise with all members of the venue team(s), supporting the Stadium Accreditation Manager to disseminate and clarify key information regarding the implementation of accreditation operations, policies and procedures, and to ensure seamless client services and efficient operations onsite.
- Coordinate with the Workforce/Volunteers department in all matters related to the Accreditation volunteers (shifts, attendance, training etc).
Note that the responsibilities of this role will evolve throughout the project, adapting to the changing needs of the tournament.
YOUR PROFILE
Education & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- If experience is compensating, lower degree is welcome to apply.
- Football (soccer) accreditation knowledge is a plus.
- FIFA accreditation knowledge is a plus.
- Effective interpersonal communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Absolute attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Good judgement, superb integrity, maturity and fairness in dealing with people.
Work Experience- Experience in accreditation operations.
- Single-sport, multi-venue event experience.
- Experience in leading a multi-cultural team as well as communicating within a multi-cultural organization.
- Experience in working across different time zones.
- Experience in and being comfortable with working in multi-lingual environments.
Languages - Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
Technology- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
