Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Attorney Engagement Specialist to support their Legal Recruiting & Development team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment. This role requires a highly organized professional with exceptional project management skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives related to attorney onboarding, mentoring, professional development, and internal programming. The right candidate will be confident, proactive, and comfortable working with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate logistics for a wide range of attorney engagement programs, including onboarding, mentorship initiatives, leave transitions, and office-wide events.
Manage professional network programming and support the Associates Committee with scheduling, materials preparation, and communications.
Oversee internal systems including program calendars, budget tracking, and personnel data to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
Draft correspondence, prepare event materials and reports, and liaise with various departments to ensure program consistency and successful execution.
Requirements:
Minimum 7 years of experience in a law firm or similar fast-paced, professional environment.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel, including experience with pivot tables and data management functions.
Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism while working collaboratively across departments.
Willingness to work occasional overtime and assist with events outside standard office hours as needed.
