We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager. The ideal candidate will take primary responsibility for the management, administration, and tracking of contracts for our organization. The successful candidate will be involved in the whole life cycle of contract management, ranging from drafting contracts to negotiating contract terms to ensuring obligations are met.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all contract development and management activities.
- Interpret contract terms and conditions, analyze commercial risks, and provide insights and solutions to the management team.
- Negotiate contract agreements for products and services.
- Monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate.
- Liaise with legal advisors to ensure contracts are legally sound and comply with current legislation.
- Monitor the performance of each signed contract, ensure all obligations and conditions are met.
- Advise and support procurement staff to prepare tenders and contracts.
- Develop and implement effective processes and standard templates for contract management and administration.
- Train and guide other employees about contractual issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in Contract Management, Legal, or relevant role.
- Strong knowledge of contracting concepts, contract acquisition, and contract law.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, contract management software, and databases.
