You are detail-oriented, compassionate, and have a strong work ethic. You thrive in a small-team environment, working independently while being a team player. Our clients are often in crisis, requiring a sensitive and supportive approach as you guide them through legal challenges. You are proactive, learn quickly, and offer excellent customer service to individuals experiencing emotional stress.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and manage appointments, mediations, and depositions
- Serve as backup for reception, taking calls and managing new appointments
- Handle filing, deadline calendaring, and draft case management reports
- Interact with clients with empathy and professionalism, understanding the emotional nature of their cases
- Maintain strong collaboration with team members in a small office setting
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a litigation or law firm environment (federal court experience preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and e-filing
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to take constructive feedback
- Trustworthy, loyal, and able to adapt to team dynamics
