As Vivacity’s General Counsel, you will provide the business with quality, accurate and relevant advice on the whole spectrum of legal matters that apply to the business. Additionally, this position will identify, assess, and make recommendations that will manage and mitigate the organization's operational risks.
This is a hybrid position in Greenville, SC. You must be located in or willing to relocate to the Greenville, SC area. This position is NOT remote.

While no day will be completely the same, you will execute daily responsibilities in these various functions:
- Apply understanding of key laws, regulations, and legal principles relevant to operation of the business, assessing and explaining how existing and new requirements may affect the organization in terms of risk exposure
- Prepare, review and negotiate company contracts, licensing agreements, real estate leases, requests for proposals and other legal documents
- Oversight and coordination with outside legal counsel regarding disputes/litigation
- Identify potential risks or concerns in company contracts by analyzing data from internal and external resources and observing processes, delivering reports and presentations outlining findings and recommending solutions to mitigate
- Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices reviewing and modifying policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Consult with management, commercial advisors, tax experts, and other vendors
- Developing the organization's policies on industry-specific issues, corporate governance or regulatory affairs
- Manage organization’s business insurance programs, managing relationships with vendors and ensuring accurate coverage at all times

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years General Counsel or In-House Counsel experience required
- 5 years General Counsel or In-House Counsel experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
