The Corporate Paralegal will support the legal department’s diverse needs, including contract management, legal research, and project coordination. This role is instrumental in developing and streamlining processes within the legal function, particularly in healthcare and employment law, as the company continues to grow. This individual will report to the General Counsel and play a central role in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, collaborating on cross-departmental projects, and liaising with outside counsel.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Main Daily Duties: (95% of Role)
Contract Management:
Draft, review, and maintain a library of contracts to ensure compliance and alignment with company policies.
Support the improvement of contract management systems and may assist in the selection and implementation of contract management platforms.
Monitor contract milestones, deadlines, and renewals, ensuring timely updates and actions.
Legal Research:
- Conduct research in areas such as healthcare, employment, compliance, and corporate governance to support the legal team’s projects and initiatives.
- Analyze and summarize findings, presenting relevant data for decision-making and legal assessments.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices to assist in compliance efforts.
Project Coordination:
- Facilitate communication and coordination across departments and with external legal teams, managing timelines and deliverables for various legal projects.
- Organize project schedules and deadlines, maintaining a clear timeline of all legal activities and processes.
- Act as a point of contact for inquiries, providing status updates and ensuring accurate and timely project execution.
Compliance Support:
- Maintain licenses, business filings, and other regulatory documentation as required in coordination with the Compliance and Finance teams.
- Ensure records and filings are current, accurate, and compliant with local, state, and federal requirements.
Document Management and Preparation:
- Prepare, organize, and archive legal documents, ensuring records are complete, accurate, and easily retrievable.
- Assist in preparing legal documents as needed for court proceedings and company meetings, applying specialized legal terminology.
- Draft summaries, reports, and legal memoranda as needed for internal or external distribution.
Outside Counsel Liaison:
- Serve as a point of contact for outside counsel, coordinating the flow of information, documentation, and project details between them and internal teams.
- Track and process invoices and other administrative matters related to outside counsel engagements.
Additional Duties:
- Complete other tasks as outlined by the General Counsel and Zynex leadership
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years of paralegal experience with a focus on healthcare and employment law. Corporate or in-house legal experience preferred.
- Familiarity with contract management and corporate compliance is preferred.
- Proficient in using contract management systems, legal research databases, and document management software.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are essential.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, employment law, compliance requirements, and corporate governance practices.
- Knowledge of provider network contracts and corporate filings preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise legal documents and correspondence.
- Capable of conveying complex information effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional projects or teams preferred.
Education Requirements:
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Paralegal certification is required and must be maintained in good standing
