Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Liaison to join our team. The Legal Liaison will provide essential administrative support and guidance to Legal Counsel while ensuring efficient coordination of legal communications and processes. Reporting to the Legal Communications Manager, this role plays a vital part in managing legal operations, scheduling, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize all incoming legal requests and email communications
- Pull, review, and organize records related to legal requests
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely data entry
- Maintain effective communication with Legal Counsel, the Legal Communications Manager, and other stakeholders
- Serve as a point of contact for current and former providers, opposing counsel, and support staff
- Coordinate scheduling for hearings, depositions, and trial appearances in collaboration with legal teams and administrative staff
- Ensure proper calendar entries for all legal proceedings and related activities
- Improve and sustain processes for accurate and timely legal service delivery
- Draft legal documents as required
- Handle the timely and secure delivery of physical records via mail or courier services
- Process payments for depositions, including credit card transactions when applicable
Qualifications:
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience in legal administration or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative tools
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
