As a legal assistant on our team, you will work with our attorneys in drafting documents, researching legal questions, managing lawsuits, and performing data entry in many areas. You will be communicating closely with our clients, vendors, attorneys, opposing parties, and court clerks from across the country.
The successful candidate must be detail oriented, able to work independently, and be able to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment. The work includes processing of hard copy documents, electronic recording of documents, communicating with clients and vendors, the management of electronic documents and accessing multiple on-line databases. As our Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for producing and recording documents in multiple states.
In Person Position, Monday - Friday 9:30 am-5:30 pm.
Experience, Skills & Abilities Preferred:
- Preferred: Legal Assistant Certification or two (2) years of Legal Assistant experience. Experience in Document Processing and paralegal research is very much preferred.
- Preferred: Washington State Notary Public with at least two years left on your Commission. If not currently a notary, must be willing to become licensed within two (2) months of hire.
- Must be flexible, highly organized and have a proven ability to juggle multiple and competing tasks and demands, collaborating with team members and working independently.
- Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials.
- Must have strong analytical, written, oral, and organizational skills.
- Able to demonstrate a high degree of proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Able to demonstrate complete and accurate data entry skills.
- Able to interact positively and productively across functions within the organization.
- Able to receive and apply feedback to improve performance.
- Able to manage shifting priorities and to consistently meet commitments and deadlines.
- Able to plan and prioritize work activities, and use time efficiently.
- Able to maintain regular, predictable and reliable attendance.

- Able to communicate with attorneys, legal assistants, and vendors.
