Innovative Driven is currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join the team at prestigious, collaborative law firm client in NYC! This position is a terrific opportunity for candidates seeking legal experience. In this role, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting a team of 4 attorneys and staff, and executing office operations.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Organize, maintain, and manage legal documents, including case files, pleadings, contracts, and correspondence.
Complete filings in NY, NJ & Federal court.
Assist in the preparation of legal documents, such as briefs, motions, and discovery requests.
Coordinate document production and filings with both state and federal courts.
Communication with clients, internal stakeholders & opposing counsel.
Maintain attorney calendars and schedule various appointments.
Screen & direct incoming calls, greet guests, and assist with drafting legal documents.
Oversee day-to-day office operations.
Receptionist coverage.
Other administrative tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a legal environment.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a focus on legal studies or a related field.
