Job Description
You will report to the head of litigation in the Legal Department and work closely with a team of attorneys, providing comprehensive administrative and legal support.
- Help handle hundreds of lawsuits annually in conjunction with a team of internal lawyers.
- Complete legal support tasks and administrative responsibilities while ensuring the seamless execution of the cases.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation of legal documents, and processing of the case files.
- Prepare to file documents with courts.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery.
- Expert at organization and maintaining case files to ensure to effective handling of lawsuits in compliance with in-house standards.
- Experience drafting settlement agreements and other routine "shell" documents for review by attorneys.
