Position Summary
The Legal Personnel Recruiter reports directly to the HR Manager and works closely with hiring partners in both the legal and tax departments. The primary focus of this role is to source, attract, screen, and recommend highly qualified legal professionals, including attorneys and legal assistants.

Essential Functions / Key Deliverables
Daily:
- Source, attract and screen candidates for legal positions, ensuring they meet the firm’s qualifications and experience requirements
- Communicate with department heads and hiring partners to understand staffing needs and recommend qualified candidates
Weekly:
- Conduct initial interviews with prospective legal candidates, assessing technical expertise and cultural fit
- Manage job postings across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, legal-specific job boards) and actively engage with potential candidates
Preferred Attributes
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in legal recruiting or working within the legal profession. This role is ideal for a retiree from a law firm or legal search agency, seeking a part-time position
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of legal positions and qualifications (attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants)
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
