Nature Of Work
Our legal practice is seeking to hire a paralegal to join our legal team. You will be supporting our practice by assisting in the preparation of contracts, as well as organizing and maintaining files. To be successful in this role, you will need to be proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. You will also need to be able to multitask effectively and essentially thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment.
Examples Of Work Performed
- Preparing legal research, legal correspondence and other documents for attorneys.
- Organizing and maintaining documents in a paper or electronic filing system.
- Support on all transactional matters related to the business operations of KSE, including, but not limited to, assisting with commercial contracts such as sponsorship, licensing agreements, event agreements, technology agreements, media rights agreements, ticketing agreements, marketing/promotional agreements, sweepstakes rules, retail leases, and arena operation and vendor agreements
- Assist with corporate governance and corporate finance matters
- Assist with litigation matters and coordinate with outside counsel
- Assist with drafting and monitoring corporate policies
- Analysis and monitoring of relevant league rules, regulations, directives, and governance documents
- Develop and conduct educational trainings for KSE employees on all relevant legal and compliance matters
- Keeping law library up-to-date by monitoring legal volumes.

Qualifications
- Minimum
- 10 plus years of relevant experience required; significant law firm experience desired
- Certificate of completion from an ABA-approved paralegal certification program of education and training, or an associate degree in paralegal studies.
- Associate degree.
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time-sensitive documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to function effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment.
- Office administration experience.
Compensation
- Base Salary Range $100,000 - $130,000 per annum
