POSITION TITLE: Administrative Assistant
LOCATION: Woodward County
STATUS: Full-Time, Immediate Opening
CLOSING: Open Until Filled
SALARY: $30,000
BENEFITS: Full State of Oklahoma benefits, including generous monthly allowance for health coverage, paid sick and vacation leave earned monthly. Paid holidays. (if applicable)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative Assistant for the District Attorney's Office Restitution and Diversion Division. Will supervise non-violent offenders on probation, work to ensure certain offenders pay restitution to crime victims, operate the Bogus Check Restitution Program and perform clerical work while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Self-Motivated.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Dependable and reliable.
- Experience using excel and word
- Financial experience a plus
- Legal experience a plus
- Experience or proficiency with office technologies
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Keyboard and 10-key proficiency
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Detail consciousness in the accomplishment of tasks
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
EDUCATION:
- High school graduate
- College or vocational school a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Ability to work well with others in close quarters
- Able to lift and move some heavy files
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/PROHIBITIONS
- Must be able to pass a background check
