Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Attorney to join our dynamic team on a remote basis. This pivotal role is designed to enhance our legal, governance, risk management, and compliance functions, supporting our business objectives and driving sustainable growth. As a Staff Attorney, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our adherence to applicable laws and regulations while safeguarding the company’s enterprise value.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate sales, vendor, real estate, and employment agreements to protect the company’s legal interests while facilitating strategic expansion.
- Oversee relationships with external counsel and manage associated expenditures.
- Prepare and disseminate information pertaining to contract status, risk, compliance, modifications, and terminations.
- Maintain a comprehensive contracts database, cataloging all contracts and highlighting significant terms to enhance legal and commercial leverage.
- Manage intellectual property portfolios, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents, ensuring the protection of proprietary technologies and content.
- Develop and coordinate internal policies and procedures to guarantee corporate compliance with existing legislation and regulations.
- Serve as a consultative resource to educate and assist colleagues on legal, compliance, regulation, and security matters.
- Lead the internal Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) Committee.
- Represent the company on legal and compliance-related customer calls when necessary.
Required Skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) with active membership in a state bar.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to facilitate collaboration across teams.
- Capability to navigate complex legal frameworks and provide clear, actionable legal advice.
- Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment without requiring frequent supervision.

Compensation And Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this role is between \(120k and \)175k, with additional bonus compensation. Variances in compensation may result from differing levels of experience.
