The Role:As
Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting our growth by assisting with trading and commercial contracts, providing regulatory insights, and collaborating with key departments to ensure our operations remain compliant and efficient. Your contributions will help mitigate risks and support strategic decisions, making you an essential part of the team.
Responsibilities
- Contract Support: Lead in the review, drafting, and negotiation of trading and commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Regulatory Guidance: Provide expertise on regulatory matters, helping the team navigate the financial industry's complex landscape.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with teams such as business development, HR, and compliance to provide legal support and ensure smooth operations as the company grows.
You Bring
- Legal Credentials: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in New York or the relevant jurisdiction.
- Relevant Experience: Experience in reviewing and managing trading and commercial contracts within the broker-dealer or financial industry, along with a basic understanding of regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborative Mindset: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across teams to support business objectives.
- Detail-Oriented Approach: Ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

In compliance with New York City’s Pay Transparency Law, the anticipated base salary for this role ranges from $160,000 to $220,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
