We are a growing full-service law firm headquartered in Beverly Hills that prides itself on providing high quality legal services to our clients while maintaining a close-knit office environment. We are hiring looking to hire a lawyer / litigation attorney for our law office. We help clients with their legal needs on a daily basis.
We are seeking an associate attorney for our Beverly Hills office to assist with our plaintiff-side employment litigation practice. Applicants should have some litigation experience.
The ideal candidate will have employment litigation experience, including handling claims for wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, and wage and hour matters. We are looking for an associate that can handle all aspects of litigation, from evaluating potential cases all the way through resolution. This position will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and become a valuable member of our team.
The position allows for remote work, onsite, or a hybrid schedule.
Salary Range $100,000-$300,000.00 based on experience.
Estimated schedule Monday through Friday from 9am-6pm.
Associate Attorney Duties / Responsibilities:
- Preparing pleadings, discovery, and motions;
- Making court appearances;
- Communicating with clients and opposing counsel;
- Developing legal strategies to resolve cases;
- Taking and defending depositions;
- Advocating for clients in mediations and arbitrations.
Associate Attorney Skills and Requirements:
- Licensed and in good standing with the CA Bar;
- Ability to manage cases (with the assistance of Partners);
- Attention to detail;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Familiarity with conducting legal research and writing;
- Willing to work in, and contribute to, a supportive, positive, and encouraging work environment;
- Employment law experience is required;
- Position requires at least one year of employment litigation experience. We provide an extensive training program as well.
