Primary Objectives
To provide paralegal assistance to the practice groups within our elite global law firm's New York office.
Key Responsibilities
There is a lot of variety within the role, but principle responsibilities will include the following:
* Provide paralegal support to the attorneys in the New York office alongside senior paralegals on a daily basis.
* Assist the managing clerk, senior paralegals and attorneys with the preparation of legal documents, document productions and other various tasks.
* Adequately compile and organize case materials such as pleadings, discovery and correspondence documents and compile relevant documents in databases and network drives to maintain an accessible case file.
* Assist senior paralegals and attorneys with preparing deposition witness files, document productions, briefs and other various tasks as they are assigned.
* Organize, analyze, and index documents and exhibits.
* Conduct and provide internet research, including pulling cases from Lexis and Westlaw.
* Attend training sessions and actively participate in learning opportunities.
* Support the Disputes team in various administrative tasks as required.
* Ability to convey information to individuals at all levels within the firm in a courteous and professional manner; strong client service orientation.
Skills / Qualifications
* The willingness and ability to make a two-year commitment.
* BS/BA from an accredited college or university is required.
* Superior working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Flexibility for overtime when needed.
* Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work concurrently on a variety of projects with changing priorities.
* Exercise good judgment and follow through on assigned tasks.

Hours: 9:30am to 5:30pm
Salary: The salary range for this role is 55 to 60k. Final salary for this role will be determined by skills and experience.
