Our client is a prestigious law firm in Manhattan. They are operating in a hybrid schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day of remote flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for administrative and document-related support.
- Draft, revise, compare, and troubleshoot legal documents and correspondence.
- Manage travel logistics, including booking flights, accommodations, and arranging itineraries.
- Coordinate client meetings, boardroom scheduling, and necessary catering or AV setups.
- Maintain and update principal calendars, client databases, and manage communications.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of docket time, WIP monitoring, and follow up on deadlines.
- Prepare and review prebills, ensuring adherence to client billing guidelines and firm standards.
- Process check requisitions for third-party invoices, filing fees, and manage expense reports.
- Prepare reports on billing and monitor Alternate Fee Arrangements, ensuring accurate rates and budget tracking.
- Manage file setup, including preparing engagement letters and coordinating with Conflicts & Records for new file openings and audits.
Requirements:
- 3+years of admin experience at a law firm
- **Attorney Billing experience is a REQUIRED**
- iManage experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Strong proofreading skills
- Bachelor's degree is a plus
