We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Junior Attorney to join our personal injury team. This entry-level position is perfect for newly licensed attorneys or those with minimal experience who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and rewarding practice area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with case preparation, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
- Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and experts to gather necessary information.
- Assist in the negotiation and settlement of claims with insurance companies and opposing parties.
- Maintain organized case files and assist with case management.
- Stay current on developments in personal injury law and legal procedures.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in California.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- A genuine interest in personal injury law and a passion for helping clients.
- Prior internship or clerkship experience in personal injury law is a plus but not required.
