What We're Looking For

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Paralegal to support our growing team in managing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), contracts, maintaining legal documentation, and assisting with various legal needs. This role will work closely with Legal, the Chief Commercial Officer, Executive Leadership, and Operations and will collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient and accurate handling of legal matters and contracts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management

Help internal teams draft, review, and process NDAs in alignment with company templates and guidelines.
Track the status of NDAs and ensure timely execution and proper filing.
Maintain a centralized repository for NDAs and related agreements.

Legal Organization and Documentation

Organize and maintain the company’s legal files, ensuring all documents are easily accessible and up to date.
Utilize company CRM to appropriately document legal activities.
Assist with maintaining corporate records.
Support the creation and updating of templates, playbooks, and other legal resources.

Support for Legal and Broader Teams

Conduct initial reviews of agreements and contracts, flagging key terms or issues for review by the legal and executive teams.
Assist with research on legal issues, regulations, and industry standards as needed.
Liaise with internal teams to gather necessary information for legal processes or compliance requirements.
Provide administrative support for special projects and initiatives led by the legal team.

Requirements:

Education & Experience

Paralegal certificate or equivalent education required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience working in in-house corporate environments
3+ years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in corporate or technology settings.
Experience handling NDAs, legal filings, and corporate governance tasks.
Track record of proven successful ability to work remote and unsupervised

Skills And Competencies

Strong understanding of legal terminology, contracts, and documentation.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with legal management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, and CRMs.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently while maintaining effective communication with the team.
Familiarity with the healthcare, data privacy, compliance, AI, and life sciences industry a plus.

Role Location & Hours

Remote, ideally on East Coast or Central Time zones
Approximately 20 hours/ week, with the potential for adjustments based on business needs.
