About the Role
The Legal Office Associate will be an integral member of the team, primarily assisting the firm’s Partners with the preparation and analysis of clients’ legal source of funds documentation for EB-5 investment visa petitions, in compliance with the rules and regulations imposed by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Other tasks include calculating, billing, and tracking client invoices, basic bookkeeping for the firm’s operations and general office administration.
The Legal Office Associate will be expected to keep abreast with changes to the EB-5 Regulations, USCIS Policy Manual and applicable U.S. Federal and State laws.

- USCIS petition filing experience, specifically with respect to EB-5 investor visa petitions, and a working knowledge of the EB-5 Regulations and relevant U.S. Federal and State Laws;
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: (i) Regulatory Compliance; (ii) Legal Compliance; (iii) Broker-Dealer Compliance within a law, financial services, or advisory firm within a highly regulated environment; or (iv) financial analysis/ tax/ auditing.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in law, accounting or finance, from an accredited university or college is desired, however, highly experienced candidates without a degree will be considered.

Hours and location:
- This is a full-time (40 to 45 hours per week) position.
- Experienced candidates may be based in any U.S. time zone, however, less experienced candidates, who would require more training, must be based in the Pacific Time zone.
Salary:
$70,000 to $140,000 depending on relevant experience and industry knowledge
