We are seeking a motivated Case Manager to join our remote team, providing crucial support and case management.
Job Description:
As a Case Manager, you will play an essential role in ensuring smooth communication with clients and effective case management. Your responsibilities will include ordering medical records, reviewing them with basic medical terminology, and providing regular updates to clients. You will be the point of contact for client questions and will work closely with our legal team to ensure that cases are processed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage mass tort cases from intake through resolution, ensuring consistent and timely progress.
- Order and track medical records from various healthcare providers to support legal claims.
- Review and assess medical records, applying basic medical terminology to verify case qualifications.
- Provide regular updates to clients via phone, email, and chat regarding the status of their cases.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, ensuring all concerns are addressed with professionalism and empathy.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to maintain accurate case documentation and meet deadlines.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling sensitive client information.
- Use case management software to track case milestones and maintain organized communication records.
- Perform additional tasks as necessary to support efficient case management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in mass tort, personal injury, or similar legal case management roles.
- Familiarity with basic medical terminology and ability to review medical records is required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle sensitive information professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with case management software.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is preferred.
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Comfortable using technology and learning new systems quickly.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 - $23.00 per hour
