Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our legal team on a part-time, contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in U.S. immigration law and be willing to handle a variety of cases, including consultations, petitions, and applications across multiple categories. The role requires the flexibility to perform 50-state consultations and collaborate with local counsel for state-specific legal advice, filings, and court appearances when necessary. This position offers the opportunity to work with clients nationwide, providing high-quality legal service and ensuring client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct 50-state consultations on immigration matters, including family-based, employment-based, humanitarian, and removal defense cases.
- Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and motions with USCIS, the Department of Labor, and immigration courts.
- Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on a broad range of immigration issues, including visas, green cards, naturalization, and waivers.
- Collaborate with local counsel on state-specific matters such as court appearances, filings, and localized legal guidance.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state immigration laws and regulations.
- Maintain effective client relationships and communication throughout the case lifecycle.
- Willingness to work across other related legal areas such as employment law, family law, and corporate compliance when relevant to immigration cases.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- An active U.S. bar license in good standing (Required); multiple state licenses preferred.
- Strong understanding of U.S. immigration laws and procedures.
- Exceptional legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with clients nationwide.
- Proficiency in working with diverse clients and complex immigration issues.
- No criminal history.
- Flexibility to work variable hours and handle as many consultations as possible per week.

Pay: $30.00 - $80.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 5 – 50 hours per week
